What brought you to Life Personal Trainers? |
| |
"I was the original 'gunna' man. I was always going to get fit, going to lose weight, but always put it off. I joined a gym for a full year, went once and then not again. Over the next year, I joined up again for a year, went twice and that was it. I was approaching 50 years of age, had a family history of heart disease and finally decided to do something for myself, something indulgent and slightly selfish. I joined Life Personal Trainers and under the guidance of my personal trainer I dropped the 'gunna' tag and NIKE just did it!!" |

| |
"I wanted to improve my fitness and wanted direction and guidance." |
| |
|
| |
"A referral from a colleague who suggested that I visit Life PT after I advised I was unfit, overweight, feeling 'stodgy' and a candidate for diabetes. He said it was a worthwhile investment but required commitment to change some lifestyle habits and exercise under qualified supervision. I took the advice and set realistic goals of twice weekly visits to lose 20 kg over two years and improve my general fitness and feeling of well being. I am half way to through that objective." |

What are some positive changes that you have noticed since starting training? |
| |
"My strength and aerobic capacity have markedly increased over the two years that I have been going to Life PT." |
| |
|
| |
"Now I can set a goal and steadily work towards it. Previously if I didn't reach a physical goal I had set within a week I would drop that goal and feel that I had failed. Now I have a realistic expectation of reaching my physical goals and do reach them, this has lifted my self esteem." |

|
| |
"My pants fit! I feel trimmer. Other people have commented that I look better." |
| |
|
| |
"I have more energy at work, have lost over 20 kg in eighteen months and have reduced my stress levels." |

What aspects of training at Life Personal Trainers do you especially like? |
| |
"The atmosphere is totally positive and seems to inspire me. Thank you for supplying an enjoyable experience in exercise and be assured that I will happily recommend you to other people." |
| |
|
| |
"I like the way that my personal trainer knows my limits and pushes and encourages me to reach that limit, and occasionally pushes me past that limit if he feels that it is safe. I am 51 years old and wear a heart rate monitor so that my aerobic capacity can be pushed safely and scientifically to its maximum. I also have a disc problem and my personal trainer has consulted with my physio and at the end of each personal training session I have a burst of physiotherapy which keeps my back in shape." |
| |
|
| |
"The 'one on one' supervision is motivating and it helps to be accountable to someone working with me to achieve my goals." |
| |
|
| |
"I like having to go!" |
| |
|
| |
"There is no 'magic bullet' - just some hard but enjoyable work and Life PT motivates me to do the hard work instead of rolling over and going back to sleep!" |
| |
|
| |
"I would just like to say how easy it has been to begin personal training with your guys. I am really impressed with the fact that people do not push you to spend more money than you are willing to spend. For some reason I was expecting the big sales push when I made my first appointment - this was definitely not the case." |
