Life Personal Trainers is excited to announce its sponsorship and team management membership of the Savings & Loans Cycling Team - one of Australia’s most successful UCI Continental cycling outfits.
Life Personal Trainers Group Director and keen cyclist, Kristin Lewis, has been selected as the Team Mentor, which sees him assisting the team with training programs, strength and conditioning, cycling technique and racing tactics. In addition, Kristin works with younger riders on developing their life 'outside of cycling' in parallel with their cycling career so they have a range of options to pursue later in life.
Life Dietary Consulting's Tanya Lewis has also been selected as the Team Dietitian, providing valuable support and advice to cyclists.

Life Dietary Consulting's Tanya Lewis was featured as the expert opinion in an article by The Advertiser on fad diets. Tanya gave advice to readers to be wary of fad diets and diet pills that promised weight loss.
In particular, Tanya stressed that there was "no such thing as an ideal, one size fits all magic diet" and that celebrities created unrealisitic expectations of "normal" diets and lifestyles. To read the article, click on the link below:

The Life Personal Trainers Ladies Lunch on Friday 26th October 2007 was a blast, with female clients and friends enjoying a fun filled afternoon of fine dining, good conversation and great prizes. A few of the attending ladies were even captured by The Advertiser business social pages!
The ladies heard from Life Dietary Consulting's Tanya Lewis, who spoke about the importance of positive body image and the role of exercise and healthy eating habits in preventing and winning over depression. She also stressed importance of treating ourselves from time to time, rather than forcing adherence to unrealisitic diet and excercise plans.
Included in the day events were a number of prizes, including gifts from Lenzerheide Restaurant, The Body Shop, Portabello Hair and Lexus of Adelaide. All funds raised from the lunch went to beyondblue, the national initiative aimed at supporting those with depression.

Life Personal Trainers' Sports Dietitian, Tanya Lewis, presented to City to Bay competitors at Santos Stadium on Wednesday 1st August. Tanya gave everyone great tips on how to get the most out of your City to Bay experience, including tips on hydration and nutrition during training and on the day.
Tanya also featured in The Advertiser, in which she explained how the right diet can give you a competitive edge when training for an event such as the City to Bay:
