Suffering is good yeah?

I read this article recently and really like it.

We live in a day where mostly we’re all working towards making our lives easier and free of effort/suffering. We live in 20 degree rooms and utilise technology to bring information to us and communicate without even having to get off our chair.

But we’re also aware of the growing lack of resilience and higher levels of stress/anxiety in society and the challenges this can bring from a mental health, productvity and performance perspective.

As the article suggests learning to ‘suffer’ or put in effort through the medium of exercise could be a key to managing stress better, reducing our mental health burden and improving our ‘life’ performance (so be kind to your trainer next time they ask you to do something that makes you work hard!).
